Monstrously rare very rare 1st issue with an insanely rare five panel fold-out '67 ELEKTRA RECORDS CATALOG, uncensored 1st pressing, manufactured at the legendary Monarch, Los Angeles copy with the "The End" track containing Jim Morrison pronouncing a recitative of loud "F**k"s towards the end of the track. Only a few numbers of these 1st uncensored copies with the misprint labels were sold before "The End" track was censored. Ultra rare very early 1st misprint labels indicating "Break On Through To The Oher Side" as oppose to "To The Other Side" on Side 1! The misprint can be found only on the 1st Monarch, Los Angeles Mono pressing. Also, the Side 1 label features a "(Weill-Brecht) Witmark (ASCAP)" publishing credit for Alabama Song (Whisky Bar), which was changed to "(Weill-Brecht) Harms Co. (ASCAP)" on the reissues. The Gold (and not brown) Elektra Records misprint labels with a bold Monarch font and 2,87' diameter pressing ring. The dead wax contains the Monarch delta ? symbols along with the "(Mon)" abbreviation and "MR in circle" on both sides. Next to the Monarch symbols there's another symbol, the public information about which is absent online. Dedicating some time to the research, taking macro photos and inspecting different spelling interpretations we've come to the conclusion that the symbol is different on each side and reads "BB" (Looking more like "BOB") (Side 1) and "BB" (Side 2). It would be totally reasonable to assume that these symbols are the mastering initials of Bruce Botnick, which is known for his work with The Doors. Original incredibly rare Stereo 1st print cover, containing an ultra-rare white "Mono" sticker, affixed to the cover at the top right corner of the front cover underneath the shrink wrap. The cover still remains in the original factory shrink wrap with breathe holes, without having any tears, splits or missing pieces. This very early 1st Mono copy comes with an insanely rare five panel fold-out '67 ELEKTRA RECORDS CATALOG, featuring the information about Elektra's artists along with their photo, including The Doors, indicating the catalog numbers for the Mono and Stereo issue of the 1st album EKL-4007; EKS-74007 under their photo in the middle of the catalog. This catalog was placed inside the covers before they were shrink wrapped. 1st US Mono issue thick heavy weight glossy vinyl pressing with the hand written 1st matrix numbers in the trail-off vinyl: Side 1 - EKL-4007A (MON) MR in a Circle ?10046 BB (BRUCE BOTNICK) / Side 2 - EKL-4007B (MON) MR in a circle ?10046-X BB (BRUCE BOTNICK).

COVER - NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) Great condition with some very light bumping to the top and bottom right corners, which is probably not even worth mentioning.

VINYL - SIDE 1: EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-) / SIDE 2: VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS (VG++) Beautiful glossy vinyl with some very light surface hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve.

LABELS - NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) Very clean scuff and wear-free shiny labels with only a few very light spindle marks, visible under a strong light source.

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting.
