Description
Many thanks for your interest in my records! I've collected records for over 30 years and as such sometimes take stock and realise how many duplicates I have accrued, and how many records I no longer listen to. I grade using the RRPG Record Collector grading system, though feel that I grade down if anything, please check my feedback for proof of this! I have sold many records (some incredibly rare ones in the 4 figures) over the years, so please rest assured that my gradings have been satisfactory so far! Though, If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me before leaving negative feedback. I haven't had negative feedback so far, and don't intend to start now if I can at all help it!
I'll combine records for the same price for up to 3 disks (double LPs count as 2!), and at as reduced a rate as I can beyond that! International bidders please ask, as I'll send them as cheaply as possible for you,but they must be sent tracked and insured.
THE BEATLES YELLOW SUBMARINE 1ST UK RARE MONO PMC 7070 1T1P Stampers
Here we have THE BEATLES LP that sold the least in the UK in the 1960s, and is therefore the scarcest. Not only that, but this is the incredibly rare MONO version. I'm sure you know that by January 1969 when thisLP was released (6 months after the film premiered!) almost no LP waspressed in MONO in the UK. Indeed this was the very final original Beatles LP tobe pressed in MONO and they were pressed in such tiny quatities that now it's almost impossible to find one! These MONO mixes are a must for any Beatles collector willing to delve into this world! As might be expected, this record has very low stampers, but I mention it anyway,as these are particularly low 1T/1P respectively. Most of the MONO sleeves were pressed incorrectly without the Garrod & Lofthouse printers' credits on the back bottom flip-back tab, only a few were printed with this corrected, this is one such sleeve with the printers' credits present! It also comes complete with it's original, and almst always missing black matt die-cut Apple LP inner! This inner shows some wear, but is better than most of the very few that actually do come up for sale with this LP!
Record Condition:VG There are a general covering of very light surface hairlines when angled under strong, direct light, and a few small, but slightly more visible ones. The record plays through fine with just some vinyl presence/static in the quieter passages, and the odd tick, but nothing to overpower the music. This is a nice playable copy of an extremely rare title and the Beatles final UK LP in MONO!
Label Conditions: VG/VG+ Really lovely labels, completely free from stickers, tears, grafitti etc. There is a tiny white mark on the word "Too" of the track title "It's All Too Much", but other than that, and some light spindle rub near the centralspindle holes, theselabelsare very nice indeed.
Sleeve Condition: VG similar to the record, this sleeve isn't afinal upgrade museum piece, but is actually quite nice! There are no wear-throughson any edge or the spine, the spine it's self is nice and legible, the corners and opening mouth edges show a little age related foxing, but absolutely no nicks or rips. The laminated front sleeve shows light handling signs, but nothing more. The non-laminated back sleeve shows a little dullening, and has two small stain spots to the far right of the red bordered text, though all of the text is still perfectly legible. The flip back tabs still hold perfectly firm, and are fully complete. There is absolutely no signs of grafitti, tears, wear-throughs, seam-failure etc anywhere on this sleeve,it's very nice!
