Here’s a clean & mega rare 1968 1st press export version of the legendary “White album” from the Beatles. 

Description of all 4 sides (Visual and audio):

Record 1, side 1: 

Small superficial scratch on the first track that remains absolutely inaudible. One long hairline on “Dear Prudence” that causes very few light pops (Not loud, not disturbing in any way). The rest plays excellent.

Record 1 side 2:

A few superficial hairlines and scuffs, all very light, causing only a few clicks on blackbird. One section of superficial scuffing between the end of “Why don’t we do it on the road”, part of “I will” and midway through “Julia” causes background interference sometimes light, sometimes louder. This could benefit from a deeper cleaning with a professional VPI machine,I I’m pretty sure. Apart from this the rest plays EX

Record 2 side 3:

Again a couple of superficial thin hairlines that are more a cosmetic issue than anything else since these remain inaudible. Just the occasional tiny pops or clicks. Plays EX

Record 2 side 4:

Here also some light scuffing and very superficial hairlines (this is all seen under direct light). Plays EX as well.

Apart from the scuffing section at the end of side 1, both records are pretty well preserved and would grade a solid VG+ with most of It playing in the EX region. Even between tracks it’s almost silent and clean.

Both records are housed in Japanese anti-static inners for better protection. 2 black inners are included, one has a center-hole and has some tears and creases along the center-hole and edges, the other inner is plain and poly-lined-inside. It has some tape on one of the edges. I guess only one of these is from the original issue. The 4 Beatles pictures are included and the original huge poster as well. The pictures are in very nice shape (No pin-holes, just very few tiny yellow age spots on the white borders). Since the poster is in bad shape (Some tears, some more yellowing, tape on the edges etc..) I will throw in for free another copy of the poster from a German 1st pressing of the same album. This is exactly the same as the UK version only it says in small letters that it was printed and made in Germany. Actually the pictures,posters and black inners for the export version are the same as for the regular version so you can easily upgrade these later.

The laminated Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold cover is in nice shape as well: Numbered: N. 0462928 it has an inevitable light ring-wear mark that could probably be a little bit cleaned but I didn’t touch it. There is a little bit of edge and corner wear, 3 circular marks on the inside left panel (Probably sticker remnants that could come out. No tears there of course). One green sticker on the top right corner of right panel inside with the number “P.R.13” written on it. “Stereo” word printed on the back panel.
