THE BEATLES WHITE ALBUM PARLOPHONE 2 LPS EMI SOUTH AFRICA MONO PMCJ PREFIX 7067 AND 7068. STEREO YEX NUMBERS IN THE RUNOFF MARTIX. # A 14249. A SOURCE HAS INFORMED US THAT POSSIBLY EMI SOUTH AFRICA INITIALLY CONSIDERED RELEASING THE ALBUM IN MONO, PRINTED SOME MONO LABELS, THEN CHANGED ITS MIND. THIS CLAIM SOUNDS PROBABLE, BUT WE CAN'T GUARANTEE IT. PURCHASED USED, LP'S ARE IN GOOD CONDITION - NUMEROUS SPINDLE MARKS, VISIBLE SCRATCHES AND SCUFFS. WE HAVE NOT PLAYED THE LP'S!!! THE GATEFOLD COVER IS INTACT BUT IN POOR, POOR CONDITION - STAINING, SPINE SPLITS AND TEARS, NAME IN LOWER LEFT CORNER INSIDE FRONT COVER. THE ALBUM HAS BEEN IN OUR COLLECTION SINCE THE EARLY 1970'S. INCLUDED ARE 4 PHOTOS AND THE POSTER BUT WE CAN'T GUARANTEE THEY ARE ORIGINAL TO THE ALBUM BUT THEY WERE IN THE ALBUM WHEN WE PURCHASED IT. RARE? COLLECTIBLE?

Unless otherwise indicated, GRADING is VISUAL as we cannot listen to all the 45’s, 78’s, LP’s, or CD’s we list. Some 45’s, 78’s, LP’s may have background noise due to their age and play time.
We conservatively grade using these general guidelines:
45’s, 78’s, LP’s:
Mint (M) – should appear to have just left the manufacturer without any handling; it should appear perfect.
Near Mint (NM) – otherwise mint but has one or two flaws that don’t affect play.
Very Good + (VG+) - has been handled and played either infrequently and/or very carefully.
Very Good (VG) – displays visible signs of handling and playing such as loss of vinyl luster.
Covers:
M – Should appear to have never had an LP in it.
NM – close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident; such as very slight ring wear, minor denting to a corner.
VG + - some wear from storage, slight ring wear, and slight edge wear and light wear that does not affect the artwork.
VG –overall wear, ring wear, edge wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains.
