CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY THE RECORDS: I have taken the decision not to play grade the records as they look virtually untouched/very seldom played to my eyes. I felt that the buyer should have the pleasure of playing them first.
I have inspected each disc under bright sunlight and also under a bright halogen lamp and each must grade at least NEAR MINT if not even better**. The worst that I could spot were the odd ultra light hairline and perhaps some wispy sleeve removal marks. Some occasional very light fingerprints which will clean up very easily.
I have also taken the decision not to clean the records. Again, I felt that this should be up to the buyer to decide. Each is extremely shiny and retains a 'just pressed' look, but a clean would always be recommended to help clear up any potential build up of static and dust (and of course any fingerprints!).
I have also inspected each label intensely and could spot nothing but the very lightest of spindle marks/spider lines here and there**. All of the labels look absolutely superb. In fact, 'Yellow Submarine' looked possibly unplayed.

**There are just two exceptions to the above:
'Rubber Soul' was the only record which had noticeable spindle tracing to the labels.
'Magical Mystery Tour' has one light scratch right at the start of side 1. As such, this is the only record that I have played to test. The scratch does produce a few clicks/pops, but after that, the audio is absolutely superb. If this example is true of the remaining records, then the buyer will absolutely not be disappointed. The audio was as clear and crisp as I have been led to believe it would be. A stunning sound with no background noise or interference whatsoever.
THE BOX: NEAR MINT; the box case has no damage at all that I can see. There are a few light marks here and there which will probably clean off. The brass hinges and catch are all clean with no damage or rust. The felt bottom is also in very nice shape. It looks fantastic.
THE ART BOOK: NEAR MINT; the book is in superb condition with just some light signs of handling. A couple of fingerprints on one page, but overall absolutely fantastic. No tears, scuffs or writing. There are three centre staples; the 4 centre pages only have come loose from the top and bottom staples but are still firmly attached to the middle one.
THE RECORD SLEEVES: Overall graded as NM/MINT; each record is housed inside a traditional outer sleeve with a gatefold card insert and a special anti static inner sleeve. I have used Sgt. Pepper as an example in the photos below. 
Each outer sleeve is at least NEAR MINT with some even better. Records 1-5 all have a touch of wear to their spines, but with the exception of 'Please Please Me', all text remains clearly legible.
Each gatefold insert is also NM/MINT.
THE GEO-DISC: The Geo-Disc's sleeve has a touch of age wear, but grades EX/EXCELLENT(+). the Geo-Disc itself appears to be in almost perfect condition with just a few light cosmetic marks.

GRADING

Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself. 

 Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.

I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.

I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.

As a general rule, shipping will be discounted ie. I lose money on the costs of buying my packaging. I do not profit from this; please remember that my costs are not simply those shown on the stamp!

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
