Description
Sony TC377 Reel to Reel Tape Recorder in full working order.
I bought this machine new about thirty years ago (£250-odd, if I remember rightly, lot of money at the time) and have really not used it much, although it has travelled the world with me and is not immaculate. One small plastic trim is missing from the top of a control knob, and there is a little scuff on the edge of the case. (see photos). Unfortunately the packing box gave up the ghost some years ago, but I still have the original owner’s manual.
It is quite a clever design in that the machine can be reversed in its case to allow it to operate upright or lying down.

On 25-Nov-06 at 11:28:35 GMT, seller added the following information: In response to a bidder's query, I have set the machine up today and checked all functions. Both Record and Playback are fine to my nearly sixty-year old ears, particularly after cleaning the heads, and especially allowing for the fact that I have no tape that's less than quarter of a century old! One can never guarantee a machine of this age (or any other, for that matter) won't give trouble, but this one works fine today.price rating
