If you are looking for a superb quality, high-end domestic reel-to-reel tape recorder, then look no further. This one is superb!
I am a serious collector of quality reel-to-reel machines and can tell you from experience that the Sony TC 377 is right up there with the Akai 4000 range when it comes to looks, ease of use, and the ability to make top quality recordings. The results achieved using good quality tape and the fast recording speed of 7.5 IPS are simply stunning. This particular machine has been serviced very recently by a fully qualified and specialist reel-to-reel engineer and he has provided me with a six months warranty which IS transferable to the successful bidder, so please bid with total confidence. The heads are in outstanding condition with no sign of any wear and tear and all functions operate quietly, smoothly and exactly as they were designed to.

Not only does this machine operate faultlessly, but it looks superb as well. The brushed aluminium facia is blemish free as is the classy wooden cabinet. The only slight blemish is a small ‘dink’ in the hardboard back panel which is hardly noticeable and of no consequence whatsoever to the overall appearance and operation of this stunning piece of kit. THIS MACHINE CAN OPERATE EITHER VERTICALLY OR HORIZONTALLY.
