Very rare 1st mono pressing of Simon & Garfunkel's Sounds Of Silence LP on Columbia records. This is a legit original copy, it has the withdrawn cover (all subsequent pressings would include the track titles on the front), for some reason this is difficult to find especially in good shape. This particular record keeps getting more scarce, as the mono pressing is superior (remember stereo was new at the time, so many records of this era sound much more "natural" in mono form), I like this cover much better then the regular one, I think the minimalist nature of not including the song titles on the front is far more representative of the artists then being forced to include the track list on the front as if it were some budget lp. Superior sound, superior artwork, 1st press glory!
