Description
Scott Walker - "The Drift" - 2 x vinyl long players - with lyric booklet - Catalogue No Drift 1 (the limited issue of 500 promotional discs for the press, media and journalists) - in unplayed near mint condition.
This is the original, May 2006 release in rare promotional form as denoted by the text on the sleeve and label (see photos) with the catalogue no "Drift 1", (not the regular no CAD 2603). This is NOT the 2012 reissue.
In superb, excellent condition, and unplayed.
This promotional release is the only one you WILL find in the UK rare record guide - the regular original 2006 and the 2012 reissue are not listed.
A landmark release by an artist that, musically speaking, is always looking forward, in an experimental vein, and light years away from his Walker Brothers "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine....." days.
