A SUPERB ORIGINAL 1968 FIRST ISSUE *mono* LP WITH FIRST -1/-1 MATRICES, AND MISPELT GILMORE ON LABEL AND SLEEVE.

    Album Description and Condition:

  A really superb and rare mono issue of Pink Floyd’s Second UK Album Release from 1968. The Vinyl LP is on the traditional Black with Blue Print Columbia Record  Labels, with Gramophone Co Ltd Label Rim, and ‘Made in England’and Sold in UK Label text printed to both record labels. Also Gilmour has been misspelt as Gilmore on the record label and reverse of the sleeve.

  Both record labels are in Excellent Plus condition,  bright, undamaged and unfaded record labels, showing just a few light signs of play.

  Side 1 stamped matrix: XAX 3633-1 and Side 2: XAX 3634-1.

  Side 1 stampers: 1 O and  Side 2: 12 H.

  Both sides of the Vinyl LP are in beautiful Excellent Plus condition,  super clean and bright vinyl surfaces to both sides. All that is visible are a few insignificant hairlines, there are absolutely no scratches or scuffs to either playing surface.

 
Audio Quality:

  As expected the LP plays through with superb sound quality, no skips, no clicks or pops, and no background noise.

  The Vinyl LP comes in it’s original EMI Advertising Inner record bag, and is housed in it’s front laminated three black flipbacks, Garrod & Lofthouse Patents Pending Picture Sleeve.

  The sleeve is in superb Excellent Plus condition.  The sleeve still retains its high gloss laminate to the front panel, with NO fading to the colours, with only mild signs of record storage and a couple of manufacturing laminate pinches. There are NO seam splits to any of the edges.

  The non laminated reverse panel of the sleeve has no damage and is super clean, the spine edge and the three flipbacks are superb.

  This is a superb example of this original 1968 rare mono Pink Floyd Album.
