Description

This is the Classic Records original first press and numbered reissue of The Royal Ballet Gala Performances conducted by Ernest Ansermet and recorded by the Decca team at Royal Covent Gardens.  This set is from the 33 RPM, 180 gram 2 LP hard box and curved leather spine reproduction of the original release by RCA.  I am the original owner.

This first issue was also given serial numbers.  The number on this one is 1-0064.  It is from the first press and 64th copy made from that issue.  There are only 63 earlier copies.

Vinyl:  Sealed with no damage to box.  The box appears pristine.
Jacket:  Sealed with all seams intact and no holes, tears or runs in the outer plastic. It is as I bought it. 

Vinyl Grading:

Mint:  Sealed or without evidenced of play

NM:  Not mint, no surface wear other than faintest of sleeve marks.  Typical of a one or two play record. Like new gloss typical of one or two plays. 

EX+  -  Very light surface sleeve marks at most, wear consistent with a very well cared for record. Deep gloss, typical of very light play.

EX     -  Some slight signs of wear, including light sleeve marks or a very few light surface hairlines.  No scratches. Excellent gloss, typical of light play.

VG+  -  Scattered hairlines or very light scratches, background noise possible. Excellent gloss typical of light to medium play.
