The "PR" etch in the matrix sequence in the runout wax
indicates this as a copy that was manufactured at the
Presswell plant in New Jersey. "AT" signifies Atlantic
Records' excellent in house mastering engineering.
LP: (Graded) Excellent Plus / Near Mint Minus, according to Goldmine record grading definitions. This record grades as an LP that appears to have been handled and played in a very careful manner, but acquired a number of superficial sleeve scuffs. The background color on the labels is mildly blotchy in a few spots, but the plating surface and labels are pristine with as new glossiness. The LP is exceptionally clean and turntable ready.
Play Grade: Near Mint Plus
- this pressing is spectacular sounding - detail, imaging, dynamics and stereo separation. The quietness of digital and the richness of analog. The near absence of surface noise both during and between tracks, approaches Compact Disc quietness. Rates a 9.5 minimum during intervals and a 9.8 minimum during the musical selections on the below scale:
Uncensored Original Cover: (Graded) Near Mint Minus - modest indications of shelfwear and some edgewear on the corners (photo details provided). Looks to be a very tiny, almost imperceptible cutout notch upper Left corner. All solid seams and fully legible spine printing. Retains original issue custom lyrics & track sequence innersleeve.
