The Rolling Stones - Their Majesties Request
(Decca TXL 103 UK LP 1967)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a a front laminated gatefold sleeve which has a 3D photo on the front. It comes with its custom red "smoke" paper inner sleeve.
The record has turquoise blue "unboxed" Decca labels. These are grooved also. It has 1st press ARL-8126-1P and ARL-8127-P1 matrix stampers. The mother stampers are C 2 ? and M 2 ?.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is a faint tape stain that runs along the bottom edge of the right side of the inner gatefold. There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the bottom edge. There is some light laminate creasing on the front & a light scuff mark on the rear. VG++ condition.
Vinyl: Unfortunately there is one very slight jump toward the end of "2000 Light Years From Home". There is no click or pop & I can't see anything to actually cause this. So it may not jump on another record player, but it does on mine.
Otherwise, light to mild sleeve rubs can be viewed under a strong light, and about 4 light hairline marks. They are all small & vary in size from 1.5 cm to 4 cm in size.
The record looks VG+ but because of the jump I will downgrade it to Fair+ condition. The labels are very clean & show very mild spindle wear. Apart from the aforementioned light jump, it plays VG++ to Near Excellent. There is some light, or very light, crackle in some of the quieter places.
The Inner sleeve is in VG- condition. There are some mild tape strip stains in three places & along the bottom seam. There is a 10 cm seam split at the bottom, & a 8.5 cm seam split at the centre of one side. There is a small sticker on both sides. The previous owner has also typed & written their name on one side.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £8.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
