Description

UK 1st pressing - 1971 - Sleeve artwork created and signed by Andy Warhol, with METAL ZIPPER ("two diamonds" design) on the front side, that unzips to reveal a cotton briefs printed on the inside, and opening on the top - Yellow "Rolling Stones Records" labels, catalogue nº COC 59100, without "A Promotone N.V. Record" text at 9 o'clock (only in the authentic 1st pressing - the later issues have the "Promotone" credit) - Original INSERT with picture of Stones members & the famous "hot lips" logo - Matrix: A3/B4 (2nd variant) - Original blank inner sleeve, w/ "Made in England" & "Patent nº 1.125.55" texts.
CONDITIONS - SLEEVE: EX (Excellent), has graphic art, stiffness, texture and internal part in great condition, very well preserved, the spine is legible. The ZIPPER is in "very good" condition (VG), with very little oxidation of the metal, working (opening) fully, but the cloth is partially unraveled on the right side, which requires great care to open it. The cover has some folds close to the zipper and the opening of the belt, very little wear, visible from close up, and a slight yellowing, but in the other parts there are NO tears, stains or writings;
INSERT: EX+ (Excellent Plus), or in "above excellent" state, with the photo, graphic art (colors) and paper stiffness practically intact, having only a very slight yellowing, but there are NOT wear, tears, folds, stains or writings ;
INNER SLEEVE: VG (Very Good), with an intense yellowing and handling marks at the ends, some folds at the tips and signs of paper oxidation in the central parts, but WITHOUT wear, tears or writing;
VINYL: NM (Near Mint), i.e, in "almost perfect" condition, with very few surface marks (hairlines), only visible at close range, with very high quality audio, very close to a new LP, however NO clicks, skips, distortions or deep scratches;
LABELS: M- (Mint Minus), "less than perfect" condition, that is, with the appearance of new labels, WITHOUT cracks, wear, stains or writing.
