Description

An original 1st press on UK Decca from whilst charting. Matrix 1W/1W. Stampers 1BC/1HK. Worth noting some of these pressings can be a little light weight - but this is a nice solid early pressing. The vinyl comes housed in a fully laminated cover [front and back] with pinched spine. We also have the original blue and white Decca inner sleeve date coded to 07/70.That's a couple of months before 1st release. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In very nice condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could make out a couple of very light marks per side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Little to quibble at here - it plays clean. Even into those super low-key tracks.. 'Love In Vain' plays clean - which is unusual. Expect nothing more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. Highly Recommended!
Cover (Ex-) Very nice flat and shiny front - just one crease top right. The rear exhibits a touch of ageing but nothing too noticeable. Edge wear is minimal and the spine 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A very fine looking specimen.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing and no splits. Bag present.
