Description

An original unboxed Decca copy of Big Hits from 1969. Matrix 3W/4W. Stampers 1-CC/1-CC. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover with photo pages attached in the interior. Also included is an original Decca inner sleeve from this time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a few very light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with prefect clarity. Interference is largely absent. Expect nothing more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side, and one single errant tick in 'Time'. Even Lade Jane plays nice and clean, and that's not always an easy find!

Cover (Ex-) In great shape and been cared for down the years. Very nice clean and shiny front - the only issue sis that crease running down in the bottom right corner. The rear fairs marginally better with barely a crease, just a tiny amount of laminate lift in the top right corner. Edge wear is slight and the openings still sharp. The interior looks great without heavy thumbing of the pages. All the photo pages are intact and still attached. The spine is 100% intact and overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) No splitting and very little ageing at all.
