CHET BAKER & ART PEPPER
Playboys
(World Pacific, PJ1234)
Original deep groove mono pressing on World Pacific. Black/silver label with circle logo at the top.
Stamped deep groove: PJ ST 698 and PJ ST 699. Also there is an etching: B-19757 and B-19999.
Condition: Record is VG+, with a couple of light spindle marks on the label. Vinyl retains much of its original gloss but has some light hairlines and sleeve scuffs, nothing significant. Did a quick play-though- play grade is at least VG+, it plays wonderfully with very little audible surface noise, nothing that interferes with the listener's enjoyment.
Cover is a strong VG, minor corner and edge shelf wear and a 3" split on the top seam off the open edge, and a 6" split on the bottom seam off the open edge. No ringwear, fading or creases. Still has much of it's original sheen. Very attractive.

A Note on Packing: We pack our records carefully in sturdy new boxes and we use cardboard inserts.
Return Policy: If you are unhappy with your item - let us know. This doesn't happen often, but when it does we take it seriously. You can return it for full credit within seven days of receiving the item.
RECORD GRADING
We grade conservatively, and aim to describe the records accurately. We grade visually according to Goldmine standards, with the addition of an Excellent (VG++ or E)grade for the hazy grey area between Near Mint and VG+. This grade applies to records with one minor flaw that makes it no longer Near Mint, but still above VG+.
