UK 1969 1st *STEREO* PRESSING LP
Dark green Apple label: PCS 7070
With 'Sold in UK..' label text & 'Apple Records..' rims
No tax/price code on either label.
Housed in the rare & early front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' stereo cover with blank lower flipback.
Later issues carried the printer's name and patent number.
Complete with original die-cut matt black inner-sleeve.

Pristine & unmarked surfaces which bear just a few barely visible inner-sleeve removal marks under halogen light but absolutely no marks, scratches or any other visual wear whatsoever.
Play: NEAR MIINT
This copy has receieved just one or two careful plays and all tracks play 'as new'. there is no trace of any groovewear distortion or background noise anywhere. Even the delicate orchestral side play without clicks, ticks or any other significant or major signs of wear. Hard to find a cleaner copy.
Cover:
EXCELLENT
A vibrant & firm example with a bright & glossy front laminate which bears a rare French import sticker. Apart from a pin-hole in the upper right corner, there is no damage anywhere on the entire cover. All corners and both opening edges are clean and sharp. The rear panel bears a touch of minor storagewear, but no significant marks, any writing or missing paper. . All flipbacks, both seams & the spine are clean, strong & undamaged.
Inner: EXCELLENT
Light creasing from storage but no tears or splits.
- Strict grading under strong daylight & halogen light based upon UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I play every record I sell at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- Unless stated, all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks & all sleeves have no writing, splits or tears.
- The listing photos have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are packed tightly in strong custom made record boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
