Description

Readers Digest four disc boxed set in slipcase, first issue, with grooved heavy vinyl discs pressed in the US by RCA.  Stampers are 2s, 1s, 1s, 1s, 1s, 2s, 7s, 3s.  Earl Wild plays the four piano concertos and the Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini by Rachmaninoff, with Jascha Horenstein and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.  Also includes Rachmaninoff's tone poem, The Isle of the Dead.  See pics for program details.

Fabulous sound and performances.  Longtime resident on The Absolute Sound Super Disc List.

Discs all NM, slipcase VG++, very clean.  Booklet included, as well as the catalog and gift order forms.  A beautiful copy of this great set.
