Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on: TITLE & ARTIST: "A Man and His Soul" - recorded by Ray Charles on the ABC Records label (ABCS 590X), in beautiful original stereo sound. CONDITION: JACKET - VG++(Jacket has light edge/corner wear only - please see actual album in photos); VINYL - Near Mint(Vinyl is shiny and clean, with virtually no marks - visually graded under special daylight balanced spotlight). SPECIAL FEATURES: Fantastically rare and wonderful collection by one of the most astounding R&B/Soul artists of all time - the great Ray Charles; this album is made up of two records filled with Ray's great ABC/Atlantic song selection; gatefold cover includes full size 11-page booklet filled with information and black & white images of Ray; superb condition; includes original inner sleeves in NM condition as well; spectacular textured cover with great image of Ray; "Collector's Limited Edition"; I bought this album new in the '70s, and my initials are still on the back in the upper left corner; if you enjoy music that comes from the very heart of the "R&B into Soul" revolution of the '60s, then please don't miss this one. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
