MEGA-RARE 1963 MONO White Label PROMO of Columbia CL 1986
PROMOTIONAL TIMING STRIP LISTS FOUR DELETED TRACKS!
LP has considerable serious marks, but plays a surprising VG- overall (often better), with some notably-audible pops from scratches on sections of a few tracks, and only milder background noise for the majority. Music always remains clear & present. Most tracks play VG and noise is generally not a serious distraction, though it can be on some occasions. Not for audiophiles, but it tracks well and sounds solid despite the marks, with some occasional audible distractions, but no skips.
Vinyl plays as the LABELS read, NOT as the promotional timing strip reads.
Strip lists "Rocks and Gravel" and "Let Me Die in My Footsteps" as tracks 2 and 3 on Side 1; and "Gamblin' Willie's Dead Man's Hand" and "Talkin' John Birch Blues" as tracks 2 and 5 on Side 2.
These 4 tracks are not on the jacket rear, promo label nor on the vinyl!!
DELETED TRACKS ARE NOT ON THE VINYL- YOU WILL NOT HEAR THEM!
Cover is VG+ or better, no serious flaws, light signs of wear.
PROMOTIONAL Timing Strip sticker on front (lists 4 alternate deleted tracks!), stamp on rear.
