Description

An original 1st press of OBCs on the UK Harvest label. Matrix A1/B1 - very 1st cut. Stampers 2-OG/2-MT. Please note the labels exhibit the 'Gramophone' text around the perimeter found only on the 1st issue. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original rounded corner sleeve. Also included is the original Harvest inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks in the odd place, and a long very-light superficial trail - all superficial and nothing that remotely effects or features in the audio. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Floyd needs a clean player every time otherwise you're going to be left disappointed. Beautiful quality clean audio from this early low-mileage copy...even in the slow-build passages. That plain song write at the end of the LP is very clean too - and that's not always an easy find. Interference is pretty much non-existent and there's just a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments - pretty much nothing! A beautiful rendition by any standard.
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and has been cared for down the years. Nice and clean front and back with just some light ageing. There's edge wear, but it's not worn through anywhere. The spine is ok with a bit of wear and some letters now obscured. Overall the cover retains very nice rigidity and lies totally flat.
Inner (Ex) Very little ageing at all. No splits or markings.
