Pink Floyd Obscured By Clouds LP UK 1st Issue - Nice Press Audio Sublime...

Description

A 1st issue of Obscured By Clouds on the UK Harvest label in 1972. Matrix A2/B2. Stampers 1-RA/2-AP. Please note the labels still exhibit 'Gramophone' in the perimeter text - this is indicative of 1st issue. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original textured round cornered sleeve printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. Also included is the original Harvest inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In absolutely faultless condition and has clearly seen only the very very lightest of use. Under close inspection there are a number of ultra-light marks, but nothing that is likely to feature audibly at all. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. And it needs to be! Some of these Floyd records are so so fussy that any interference will just get in the way of the audio. This copy, thankfully, is preserved like no other copy I've seen or heard. So, we are grading at Ex+ confidently and on the understanding that this is not a throw-away Ex+ this is a very very unusually high-standard of audio playback. Thanks to the EMI pressing quality you will be treated to some of the best quality audio playback you are ever likely to hear. Truly top-level in every sense. Interference is practically non-existent. All we detected was a couple of crackles in a couple of brief moments [literally]. This copy is a bit of a one-off in my opinion.
Cover (Ex) In fantastic condition and boy has someone cared for this LP! The surfaces front and back are in pristine condition unaffected by creasing or ageing at all. There is some light edge wear, but nothing really significant. The spine is mostly intact accept for the wording 'Clouds' which is wearing away. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity and lies perfectly flat. A truly terrific example.
Inner (Ex) Minimal ageing. No splits.

Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
