Description
A 1st issue of Animals on the UK Harvest label in 1977. Matrix A2/B3. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original wide-spine gatefold cover. Also included is the original inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb shape and clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are practically silent and the audio comes across with great clarity. It's worth noting that this PF release is very acoustic sounding and low-key. You'll need a well preserved early copy, like this one, to do it proper justice. The audio is fantastic with bags of warmth and detail you just won't get from later issues. Interference is very minor. We're talking just a touch of static in one or two isolated moments and even this is very minor.
Cover (Ex) In very respectable condition and has clearly been cared for down the years. This particular title often suffers a lot of handling wear - but not here. This example is only exhibiting the very lightest of wear and certainly looks in top condition. The interior is pretty much faultless. Edge wear is very light - even the spine is pretty much entirely intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Great condition. No splits.
