Original issue of the first album by the legendary Texas psychedelic rockers The Thirteenth Floor Elevators
This is an original 1966 record album release by the infamous Texas The Thirteenth Floor Elevators led by Roky Erickson credited as being the founders of. Psychedelic Rock. This was produced by Lelan Rogers (Kenny Rogers' brother), and engineered by the great Bob Sullivan at Summit Sound Studio in Dallas. The songs on this include:
Side One: "You're Gonna Miss Me"; "Roller Coaster"; Splash 1"; "Reverberation (Doubt); and "Don't Fall Down"
Side Two: "Fire Engine"; "Thru The Rhythm"; "You Don't Know"; "Kingdom Of Heaven"; "Monkey Island"; and " Tried To Hide"
The vinyl on this is in Very Good Plus to Near Mint Minus quality, and it is lustrous and glossy with very few extremely minor shallow surface scratches. Basically, there is nothing at all wrong with the vinyl. The cover is in mint condition, and still has its original shrinkwrap on it. You would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this extremely collectible and historic record.
