Description
The Beatles Please Please Me, Mono LP. This is the original first pressing with the gold and black label.
PMC1202 Mono.
Matrix number: XEX 421-1N and XEX 422-1N (Visible in close up photo of label)
Condition: vinyl is in superb condition and is graded very good. It would be excellent, but there is a minor scuff mark on the runoff section side 1. Side 1 also has some spindle wear and close to this. Side 2 has a few faint lines running across the vinyl. Looks like side 1 has been played more than side 2 as there is less spindle wear on this side. Close up photo is of the not so good side.
Stamped M and T on side 1 (see photo) to denote early 1963 production.
Inner sleeve is the original Emitex waxy paper and plastic middle. This is creased at the corners.
Sleeve is in very good condition and has been looked after. There is a small crease at the top right in the shape of the vinyl along by the mono logo. This is visible from photograph number 1.
This edition has credits to Dick James Music which was changed in later pressings. Bottom right of reverse of sleeve printing credits are to Ernest J. Day.
See photograph showing the Dick James credits.
This item will be packed very carefully and sent by insured post to the winning bidder. I have charged postage to cover insurance as this is a rare and collectible item.
