Description
This is an original 8 1/2x14 promotional-only poster commissioned by the artist himself circa early '70s. It was NEVER offered as an insert in any issues of his psychedelic album "The Truth". This is the larger of two versions of the same promo. It has text at the bottom including telephone number and mailing address. The smaller version of the same poster crops out this text and has erroneously been described as "a rare insert" for the album, but it also was never included as an insert. This copy was obtained directly from Mr. Hooker himself, and represents one of the very last two copies he had. It is in very good condition with some modest curling at the very top and bottom, as well as some light age yellowing in the same areas, and two very tiny creases top right and bottom right corners - no tears or other significant stains or blemishes other than the light yellowing mentioned.
