Very rare D.R. Hooker promotional poster. This is 100% original, not a copy. As far as I know these were never really used much by D.R. so I don’t think many exist.
Some people think this was an insert that went into his Armageddon Lp. That is incorrect, those are copies that are missing the bottom information on the real posters. Someone close to D.R. wrote this on the discogs notes for Armageddon:
This Lp never had an insert. Here is how those 'Previously unknown ultra rare insert' (s) came to be. I got copies of this from D.R. in '85 and promo posters/pics. All the copies were sealed but warped. So I opened them all to check how badly warped they were and then sold the acceptable copies in my catalogue clearly stating they were warped. The posters/pics were set aside. On two more occasions I bought the remaining copies, opened (most), checked, noted the warp & sold them. A handful went to someone in Europe so I included one of the promo pics...BIG MISTAKE! (((^*_*^))) Soon afterwards...voila! listings from others now said 'Includes ultra rare insert'! If you place an original next to one of the ultrarare jobs you can tell right away you're looking at a photostat copy.
