Volume 1 contains an introduction and long-form essay by Gerard Way detailing the band's recording experience and lyrics for tracks A1 to B7. Volume 2 features essays by Mikey Way and Bob Bryar, track-by-track commentary by Ray Toro and Frank Iero, release credits and lyrics for tracks C8 to D13.
