Product Description

Metropolis-Original Motion Picture Soundtrack-LP-CBS Records Australian issue- SBP 238022 (Mega rare CBS Australian pressing of this ground breaking 1984 soundtrack release for the classic 1926 Fritz Lang masterpiece, with newly created soundtrack by Giorgio Moroder.   Music composed by Moroder – all tracks, and lyrics by Pete Bellotte - all tracks except ‘Love Kills’ and ‘On Your Own’.  Album features Freddie Mercury’s track ‘Love Kills’ – released as a single, Jon Anderson (‘Yes’), Pat Benatar, Adam Ant and more.  Housed in glossy gatefold picture sleeve in excellent condition with hype sticker on front cover (sticker has very slight stain) (see pic).    Includes inner sleeve with lyrics - has some light ageing marks on sleeve but otherwise in excellent condition.  Vinyl disc is in excellent (minus) condition with a few very light marks/scuffs – SBP 238022)
