Some clowns on line will put this up as a 1st pressing...haha. NO..no it's not a 1st pressing...A nice early copy but this is a CBS plant pressing from 1965. True 1963 pressings by Philips are, in fact, pretty rare. Notice the labels are textured with the large "33" format speed - all signs of an early copy [But not 1st!]. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover printed by E J Day. The original mid-sixties plain inner is present too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In lovely condition and has only seen light careful use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations per side. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. The album was very popular and the audio delicate - a combination for speedy deterioration. Only a few slight crackles observable, and a couple of slight ticks, in North Country - which still plays excellent. Blowin' is so so well known and popular it rarely avoids a butchering...but thankfully this copy has avoided it's usual fate.  A cracking rendition on this fussy and often abused track. Masters of War  - on of my favourites..is just superb with an occasional static crackle. As relevant today as it was when it was penned 60 years ago! One click early in Hard Rain' and a few crackles here and there [nothing upfront] - the only track which you could vaguely say was marginally sub-optimal. A lovely copy which largely plays clean and more than enough to fully appreciate this masterpiece by the Bobmeister..
Cover (Ex-) In super condition and has survived the years in far better condition than many examples. Super clean surfaces  - which is a hard find. A light indentation top right corner. Sharp openings. Hardly any edge wear and the spine 80% intact. Overall very appealing.
Inner (Vg+) No splits. Bag present. Some ageing.
