One of the rarest jazz albums EVER! Estimates are that only 300-500 were pressed 64 years ago. How many remain in playable condition? 100? Less? Only a handful (10?) have come up for sale in recent years. Ridiculously rare.
Vinyl has many scuffs and scratches but plays well. Crackle/surface noise throughout. Music comes through strong and clear. No skips! I’ve tried to give you a representation of the surface in one picture. Thanks to Rudy Van Gelder’s wonderful engineering and the small pressing this is a very enjoyable listen. Thanks to the musicians it’s a fantastic listen. One of the best jazz albums I’ve ever heard. I’m sorry to see it go but I’m unemployed and need the money.

Deep Groove Labels: Side 1 has some scratches and spindle marks. Side 2 has spindle marks.
Cover has general wear, dinged corners, 2” split at centre of bottom edge, 2” split at bottom right corner, dark smudges on rear, area of moisture damage to bottom of open edge where the slick is separated from the cardboard
