We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. **** Recommended hard & raw garage-rocker 1968 classic from Los Angeles California ~ featuring "BORN TO BE WILD"
The beginnings of hard rock & later on heavy metal can be pinpointed to a single song, Steppenwolf's biker classic "Born to Be Wild," featured on this classic self-titled 1968 debut. Originally from Canada, known as THE SPARROW, the band moved to Southern California, tightened up & turned up, then Steppenwolf exploded out of that West Coast, led by singer/guitarist John Kay. The band took the blues rock of Cream and cranking the volume a few notches higher to create its own style.
There's more to Steppenwolf's great debut than just the aforementioned "Wild" rock standard. There's a cool tribute to Chuck Berry in "Berry Rides Again," the sexually-charged "Sookie Sookie," and the anti-drug statement "The Pusher" and that's just the start. All time American sixties classic!

- The cover: rated: The silver foil front cover is near M- in factory cellophane, a small square of outer shrink wrap is missing near mid-pocket opening. The cover is very solid and NO scuffing or scratches to the silver foil cover per usual. Obviously old 60's silver foil covers, especially from OVER 50 years ago are impossible to SUPER-HARD to find clean ...tiny bb delete drill at lower left ...no bends, no split seams .... (see photo) ... all cellophane is on on back cover .... 53 years ago collectible
- The vinyl: Rated: glowing glossy over both sides : VG++ to M- would have been rated near M- but for small visual mark on a couple tracks only ... in terms of rarity , the bulk of the sides are a BEAUTY play enjoyable. Still a nice collection copy that is extremely hard to find in MONO ... with clean =MONO= Dunhill labels
