MICHAEL JACKSON LPs & 12" singles
THRILLER - UK 25TH ANNIVERSARY PICTURE DISC
Near mint throughout. Played once with great care.
FAREWELL MY SUMMER LOVE ( UK LP WITH POSTER)
DISC: very good+. Disc superficially scratched, but does not affect playback at all.
SLEEVE: very good+.
POSTER: excellent.
GOT TO BE THERE (UK LP RE-ISSUE)
DISC: excellent. No crackle.
SLEEVE: very good+.
BEN (UK LP RE-ISSUE)
DISC: very good. Some light superficial scratch marks which do cause some occasional light crackle.
SLEEVE: very good+. Main body of sleeve is excellent, but there are some small crease marks along edges.
MIX (UK DOUBLE LP)
DISCS: very good+. Some superficial scratches with some very occasional light crackle.
SLEEVE: very good outside. Inside gatefold sleeve is fair.
MJ MEGAMIX PROMO (UK 12” PROMO)
[this is the same mix as released on the USA 12” of “You Are Not Alone”. Same mix featured on both sides of disc)
DISC: very good+. Crackles at start and very lightly throughout.
ROCKWELL “SOMEBODY’S WATCHING ME” (FEAT. MJ) - UK 12”
DISC: very good. Light crackle
Sleeve. Good. Ringed.
I WANT YOU BACK - UK ‘88 REMIX 12”
DISC: excellent. Needs a clean, but does not crackle.
SLEEVE: excellent.
STATE OF SHOCK - UK 12”
DISC: excellent. No crackle.
SLEEVE: fair. Very heavy ring.
SHAKE YOUR BODY (DOWN TO THE GROUND) - UK DISCO MIX 12”
DISC: excellent. No crackle.
SLEEVE: fair. Light ring. Scuff marks. Slight tear on front.
DESTINY (FEAT. “BLAME IT ON THE BOOGIE” (DISCO MIX) - UK 12”
DISC: excellent. No crackle.
SLEEVE: fair. Grubby all over.
Cost of postage using myhermes.co.uk is £7. Royal Mail would be A LOT more expensive.

DEFINITIONS OF TERMS USED (I do not use the Record Collector’s Guide to grading as I find it over-grades. For example, anything given a “near mint” using the Record Collector’s system will get an “excellent +” using my system. To avoid disappointment I prefer to slightly over-grade if anything)
MINT: Will not be used. If a record is new it will be stated as such. I do not grade second-hand records as mint.
NEAR MINT: Looks as good as new but may have been played once.
EXCELLENT: Possible extreme light marks (usually superficial), unless stated that it has no marks. Excellent+ means it looks almost completely unplayed.
VERY GOOD: Moderate signs of use, as many as possible will be stated in item description.
GOOD: Lots of signs of wear, as many defects as possible will be stated in item description. Will still play well (crackles will be stated).
FAIR: Lots of signs of wear, but still plays well (unless otherwise stated).
POOR: Extreme signs of wear, noticeably loss of sound quality.
“Superficial scratch marks” means not made by a stylus. Probably happened when disc was taken from sleeve.
These records are from my private collection. All records are graded in natural day-light, usually over-cast (I live in the UK), so direct sunlight will show more defects than are listed. However, I play test all records, so provided records are bought to play you should not be disappointed.
