RARE and sought after ORIGINAL 1973 first pressing vinyl on the old ZEBRA label...the mighty heavies Kin Ping Meh, rockin' with heavy riffing guitars...
KIN PING MEH are not your typical Kraut Rock band. Although they're quite frequently labeled as such, their sound is more akin to "hard Prog." KIN PING MEH, was founded in 1970 in Mannheim Germany as a quintet. In their early years, Achim Reichel, Frank Dostal, and the great Konrad Plank worked with KIN PING MEH, engineering and producing some of their work. After the first album, Wagner and Herzog left, and other members were added off and on throughout the rest of their career (including some members of 2066-AND THEN-e.g. Geoff Harrison who sings on this album). KIN PING MEH's strongest efforts were those of their early 70's. KIN PING MEH's blending of Prog and hard rock is very effective, and that definitely shows on their albums. They were also a stunning live act, so much of this album is also worth investigating. Inventing their own sound with the powerful vocals of ex-2066 & Then singer, the influences shown here are from early Uriah Heep and early Deep Purple itilizing the gushing organ and razor guitar within tightly controlled hard prog structures.

CONDITION: The cover with delete drill at bottom left, is clean "EX" (excellent) and looks very collectible...
