Description

Hi! You're looking at a great overall condition Mercury Living Presence Stereo (serial number SR 90280) issue and a White label PROMO and FIRST PRESSING with RFR 1 / RFR 1 stampers in the runout grooves and a classic recording of Symphony No. 40 in G Minor composed by WOLFGANG AMAMDEUS MOZART and the "Farewell" Symphony No. 45 composed by JOSEPH HAYDN; the performances are by conductor ANTAL DORATI, who leads THE LONDON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA.  The LP is a 1962 pressing on the Mercury Living Presence label with the serial number SR 90183, is a LIVING PRESENCE STEREO issue, a White Label PROMOTIONAL COPY and 1st PRESSING with RFR 1 / RFR 1 stampers and was made in The United States.
This record is in great overall condition and the vinyl is in VG+ overall condition and plays very well overall, with some paper scuffs that produce some tics and pops in some places which are most noticeable during quiet passages and no other significant flaws (this LP has been SOUND GRADED IN ITS ENTIRETY and the sound of the music is magnificent despite the occasional tics and pops, which a thorough cleaning might possibly diminish since there are NO scratches); the cover is in NEAR MINT- (Ex) cond. with a couple of very light radio stamps on the back surface, timing notes next to the titles, a small ID sticker on the upper left corner of the front surface and a factory Stereo sticker on the center right of the front surface & just very light shelfwear otherwise but NO other significant flaws--it's NOT a cutout!  The ORIGINAL MERCURY LIVING PRESENCE INNER SLEEVE is also included and in great shape, with a couple of small tears and creases on the upper edge.
Vinyl Grading Standards (unless otherwise indicated, LPs are visually graded)

Mint (or M) – Sealed and effectively perfect with no signs of wear or ever having been played.

Near Mint -- A record with only the slightest evidence of ever having been handled.

Very Good Plus Plus (VG++) A very clean record that has no marks aside from slight scuffs and abrasions caused by removal from a paper inner sleeve or perhaps a few marks on the label caused by a turntable spindle.

Very Good Plus (VG+) A record that has had a number of plays and may have some superficial scuffs, possibly mild to moderate spindle marks and / or possibly hairline scratches on the vinyl, which may produce some intermittent pops and possibly very light background noise.

Very Good (VG) A record that has generally been well cared for, but has seen a fair amount of play, with some scuffing. hairline scratches, spindle marks and / or light scratches.  Should play through well, with the possibility of more pops and more background noise.

Very Good Minus (VG-)  A record with significant scuffs, scratches, and spindle marks that should play through with moderate pops and surface noise, possibly of some duration.

Good (G) A record with will play through, but with significant pops, substantial background noise, and possibly intermittent skipping.

Poor (P) A record with MAJOR issues that will interfere with play, and will possibly be unplayable in part due to damage (I'll only offer an LP in this condition if it's an extreme rarity and / or for cover art display purposes).

A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this vinyl LP!
