Description

Up for auction is a rare bound volume of legendary UK music newspaper/magazine NEW MUSICAL EXPRESS (NME)

This bound volume collects all the issues of the magazine from Jan 1. - June 25, 1977
Classic from the perspective of the year that punk took over the world (or at the very least the UK, at the time) and became the influential force in music.
The Clash, The Jam, The Damned, Sex Pistols, Sham 69, Ramones, Television, Stinky Toys, etc, etc, etc... A wealth of tidbits chronicling their rise.

Supremely scarce/rare and not much information at all available on these bound volumes, which were probably made for an institutional library at some point.

Absolutely perfect for the punk/kbd fan and collector of rare music memorabilia.

 Condition:
Overall decent  condition. There is a little split in the front board binding, but is not broken or at all detached. Please contact me for more photos if interested.
Pages are clean with some age yellowing to the newsprint. One fully bound page had come unbound, but is in its correct place (March 5, 1977 - pages 29-32 ).
Back of bound volume has some mild shelf wear. I tried to add as many photos as I could, but again -- contact me for more photos if interested.
