LIVING STEREO BANNER COVER! OZ pressed SL16284 = SB2130 0r LSC 2471 Liszt Stokowski Rhapsodies  NM-/NM- RARE

NO ENGLISH OR USA PRESSING HAD THE COVER WITH THE "LIVING STEREO" BANNER COVER. THIS MAKES IT A VERY RARE COVER !! AND THIS IS THE ONLY ONE I HAVE SEEN IN AUSTRALIA

SOUND SAMPLE AUTO STARTED WHEN YOU OPENED THE PAGE, TURN UP THE VOLUME... CARE sample is having trouble loading hopefully fixed before listing gets too old!

Here is a sound sample of about 7 minutes, first 3 minutes 15 seconds opening side 1, side 2 commences at 3 minutes 25 seconds

Unfortunately your tinny computer speaker and the poor sampling rate of my turntable (192kbps) is NOT going to display too much other than how clean this record is TURN up the SOUND and listen while you read on.

Australian Pressing of RCA LSC 2471. (or British RCA SB 2130 as it has  A1 A2 UK  stampers. (MR2Y 0099 and MR2Y 0100)  Australian stock number, SL 16284.

Bargain basement starting bid as the original USA pressing has a value in excess of 100 aud.

Those who buy TAS list records, may want to give this a try, this LP not on the TAS list, but the USA 'shaded dog' label of this exact recording IS.  Remembering that the TAS list people predominantly list USA pressings or USA available pressings, I would suggest that the TAS people have never heard an Australian pressing, or the English equivalent either (and may not want to.....) but here it is anyway!

USA BUYERS PLEAS NOTE!! Due to recently enforced air security measures, if this is delivered to USA (or Territories) there is now a 9AUD (6GBP) handling surcharge PLUS the normal post charge (x ray search) so that is why postage to USA destinations is so expensive in the postage Tab!!!!

Here is a bargain basement pressing of a recording that is TAS listed on another label from the same parent company (RCA USA)

Australian pressings never came as Shaded dog label, but first editions had a label not too different to the UK pressed ClassicaL 'SB' SERIES LIVING STEREO, WITH THE LABEL DESIGNATED AS 'Silver Spot Grooved', its just a bit brighter red than the british label color of Maroon. The british pressed equivalent is SB 2130  for this recording

Stamper codes are A1/A2. and A2/A2

I have listened to all of this  out of personal interest, plays superbly and very cleanly, even if it is OZ pressed!!

This LP washed and cleaned with  Professionally, it was spotlessly CLEAN, and  it PLAYS NM. LP cover also is NM MINUS. No splits or edge wear, NO ringwear

The inner dust sleeve is just an australian all plastic sleeve, and is discarded in favor of  a non scratching archive quality sleeve from MFSL to reduce any further risks of paper scuffs.
Lp has NO spindle rotational marks on label side A or side B, indicating very little play play .

Won't spend too much time waffling  so any specific questions please email me.

Opportunities to get such rare  issue, especially in this, great  a condition,  at such a low starting price are certainly Rare Indeed. I have only ever seen this once here in Australia in the TENS of THOUSANDS of records I have seen.

Condition (See Photo's)

COVER- ,NM minus NO shelf wear on bottom edge,  there is no ring wear, no other creases tears or seam splits.opening edge still clean  no feathering .

LP-  NM- Only the normal  few light paper scuffs from withdrawal from sleeve. FULL test play revealed very few light occasional tics and pops, it plays like a brand new one as far as I am concerned!

TO BE PROPERLY INSURED, I WILL NOT UNDER DECLARE THE SALE PRICE OF THE ITEM,

I CAN ONLY INSURE BASED ON THE CUSTOMS DECLARATION STATED VALUE, PLEASE BE AWARE SHOULD YOU BE LIABLE FOR ANY CUSTOMS ON A SECOND HAND LP IN YOUR COUNTRY, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT PAYMENT (UK, Sth Korea, Germany, and if up against corrupt customs officers in Malaysia it would seem ...at least these countries probably more, have this problem I believe)

In other words, buyers asking me to understate the customs declaration on this item need not bid, as I flatly refuse under international law to do so.  (Last Buyer who did that gave neg feedback (it was retracted obviously) as they thought it was my fault they had taxes to pay(?????)

RULES FOR BIDDING

DOES ANYBODY READ THIS?? I THINK NOT BASED ON RECENT BIDDING ACTIVITY ON MY ITEMS!! PLEASE READ...

If you have hidden feedback, or

less than 98% positive, or

less than 50 recent visible positives, (that's NEW EBAY registrations with little activity yet, that have proven your good buying habits)  THEN -

I would appreciate email contact first to establish your credentials.  Credentials mean that I need to know you will be paying with VERIFIED PAYPAL account, and I of course will only be mailing to that verified address. DON'T EXPECT TO GET MY PERMISSION IN THE LAST 2 HOURS OF BIDDING, DO IT BEFOREHAND. (Buyers who have had trouble free transactions with me already qualify of course, regardless of the feedback status)

Winning bids unpaid after 7 days will be reported as non paying bidder and item opened to second chance offer.

HAPPY BIDDING, QUESTIONS WELCOME

This listing in Australian dollars because I don't live in US or UK, and if you don't, WHAT A WASTE OF DOUBLE CONVERSIONS THAT WOULD BE !!

The keen starting price offers a great opportunity to own this great recording at a reasonable starting price.
