Description
I've never seen this Doc Severinsen record come up before (exhaustive research indicates only a mention it exists on the database collectors made for the famous Century private pressing label).
This Lincoln High School is located in Wisconsin (Apparently there is another Lincoln High School he recorded with in Nebraska).
Features a mix of Jazz, Easy Listening, and contemporary classical selections, with Doc Severinsen as the prominent trumpeter and soloist on 6/8 of the track selections.
Released in 1967 for students, parents of the school to purchase, pressed by Century Records, and according to school archives Lincoln High School contracted Century for 100 copies, however Century had made an error resulting in the last three letters of Severinsen on each jacket being cropped, 50 copies were sent back to Century for destruction, and the school wasn't charged in keeping the remaining 50. Only 50 copies at most survived, the student Treasurer informed me that they only sold 26 copies.
- Vinyl Condition: VG+ (Spindle marks, beautiful copy overall)
- Cover Condition: VG (this was a tough decision, if everything else wasn't crisp, I would put it VG-, due to the light wavy water damage at the top of the front cover)

My grading system comes from being a longtime collector myself, meaning conservative grading, and transparency. NM EX VG+ VG VG- G+
If a record is sealed, I will state "sealed" and presumed "mint", making sure it is flat, and such. Should a buyer win a sealed item, I am happy to unseal it for them upon request.
