Description

Great example of this original 1970 'Made In England' Blue Horizon 7-63863 LP in mono by the man himself, Lightnin' Slim.
As ever, the cover is of the ubiquitous BH hard card type. Similar condition to my other concurrent BH listing, viz: there are no seam splits, rips, tears or writing and the corners are square albeit show some wear. Both the mouth and spine are in good shape. As is typical this cover has ringwear and some edge wear plus corner creasing top left and bottom right.  But once again it's an intact solid example and condition wise I rate it 8/10.
For the record itself the machine etched matrix numbers are S7 63863 A1 for side one and respectively B1 for side two. The photos show how clean the labels are with yet again signs of a single play only each side (ie token spindle track marks) along with the sharpness of the spindle holes themselves.
Exactly same vinyl description as for my Big Boy Crudup listing and I quote......And the vinyl is in very nice and shiny condition; obviously has seen minimal action as described above.  In room light it looks mint but angling under a searching and always unforgiving table light I see some paper scuffs which is expected seeing the plastic has lived in its' inner sleeve for the past 47 years!  By necessity I'm being very critical of course but that said I'd rate the vinyl 9/10 for condition and it would grace any collection.
The inner sleeve is the original CBS issue as shown.  In great intact shape but has the expected age related browning. I'll transport the record in it's sleeve outside the cover to avoid 'knifing' the latter.  And again I'll pack with a non-bendable liner to defeat the barbarians on its' handling and travels from me to you (yeah yeah yeah).
