KISS 'ALIVE!'
Mega Rare 1977 UK Red Vinyl issue on Casablanca/PYE Records
Released for the UK Market in 1977, PYE Records issued their standard vinyls on translucent red vinyl (looks black, but hold to light and its a deep red. This is one of the much rarer limited runs of solid red vinyls PYE did.
I've owned this for about 7 years, bought as part of a big collecting phase when I started buying vinyl again.
I'm thinning my collection down to Vinyls that hold sentimental value for me so am letting some of the stuff I collected in the 2010 onward for sale. I have 4 other versions of this album so am selling this one to fund guitar gear. I fall in love with the candy-coloured red vinyl every time I look at it, so may change my mind. Gran it while I'm in 'head over heart' mode ;)
The sleeve is a matt finish, like the original KISS Alive! pressings. Like the standard '77 PYE pressings, it has the white spine that the UK PYE 77 pressings had.
This is guaranteed an authentic pressing, from my own collection. If you're serious about buying it, I'm happy to provide more photos, matrix numbers, etc. to show you the album if its a deal breaker.
I've not listened to this one, but will try and make time to play it end to end to check for any skips etc. Visually its in excellent condition all round as pictured.
