Description

Very VERY few copies of this Joe Harriott EP have turned up in the last 15+ years, so here's a rare opportunity to get your hands on one.

This was recorded in 1955 and issued on the Jazz Today label, and it's fascinating to hear his stellar sax tone backed by violins, cello and even a harp, along with the reliable support of Max Harris (piano), Sammy Stokes (bass) and Phil Seamen (drums).

The sleeve has some visible wear front and back, and a 1cm spine seam split. It grades VG to VG+.

The vinyl is clean but has one or two hairlines and plays through fine, albeit with some surface noise and one noticeable pop on Side 2. Conservatively, it grades Good+ to VG over the two sides – possibly best on Side 2.

The labels are Excellent, with no noticeable wear.

A chance to pick up a Joe Harriott jazz rarity!
