Description
Three LP / EP black vinyl / record boxed set from the Subpop label, released in 1988: Sub-Pop-200. Twenty tracks from Tad, The Fluid, Nirvana, Steven J. Bernstein, Mudhoney, The Walkabouts, Terry Lee Hale, Soundgarden, Green River, Fastbacks, Blood Circus, Swallow, Chemistry Set, Girl Trouble, The Nights And Days, Cat Butt, Beat Happening, Screaming Trees, Steve Fisk, and Thrown Ups. This includes the box, the 16-page book, the cardboard insert to keep it from caving in, and the three records.
Condition: I've shown the front and back of the box in photos. All four corners are intact on the bottom of the box. The top has three corners split, which may be seen in pictures, above. The book has no folds, tears, sharp creases, curls, or soil. But it has been paged through, as seen by reading creases. I've tried to show typical examples of this in the last three photos. It might require expanding the screen to see them. The only more obvious crease is in the lower corner of the last page, shown in the very last shot. The records, when studied under a bright light, show a few possible hairlines (and I do mean barely even that) on sides A, C, and D. However, all of them disappear when the record is tilted to just a slightly different angle under the light. At worst, look at the photo under the track listing on side A, right under there, on the last two tracks on that side, and there's the worst hairline. Between the photo of label A and the photo of label B, I added three pictures of close-ups at hopefully different angles to study that area under the A label to see how bad it is; or isn't. This boxed set will be very carefully packed in a thicker-than-usual record mailer box, with extra cardboard protecting both sides. I will take it to the post office within two business days of receipt of payment.
