Original, black label with silver text, deep groove, mono. Paris sings on 12 tunes. Orchestra directed by Neal Hefti or Norman Leyden. The following personnel is mentioned on the back cover. The details are not clear. To the best of my judgement the personnel is as follows. On 8 tracks Paris is accompanied by Charlie Shavers, trumpet; Billy Taylor, piano; Kalil Madi, drums; Earl May, bass. On 2 tracks Hymie Schertzer, alto sax; Al Klink, tenor sax; 4 unidentified strings; Taylor, piano; Trigger Alpert, bass; Bunny Shawker, drums; Carmen Mastrem, guitar. On 2 tracks Paris is accompanied by 10 strings; Taylor, piano; Sandy Block, bass; Ed Grady, drums; Harry Breuer, vibes; George Barnes, guitar. The notes on the back cover list the personnel but, as mention, the information is not clear. This is the best I can make of it. Recorded in 1959.
Cover: VG+ to Mint(-) Intact and clean. Crease on 1 corner. Minor aging on the back cover. Overall, fine condition, close to Mint.
Record: Mint Visually shows no wear. There are no markings on the vinyl surface. The record has an unplayed appearance. No surface noise. Fine, collectable quality. Audibly checked.
