Irvin Russ recorded the rockabilly hit "The Crazy Alligator" in 1959. American singer and songwriter born in Lafayette, Georgia (June 17, 1934). The label on the acetate indicates that this is Irvin Russ but the voice is female. I think that this acetate was recorded by Irvin Russ and that the female voice is his wife Marie Russ who he recorded music with.

There are some background pops and crackles but nothing major. The music overpowers the minor background noise. This acetate plays well with no skips or jumps.
