LP : Johnny R?ducanu - Jazz În ?ara Mea / Jazz In My Country

Original 1976 pressing from Romania on ELECTRECORD, SERIA JAZZ Nr.11, STM-EDE 01186. Heavy vinyl, original deep-grooved white label with red/black lettering. Coming from one of the best times of the SERIA JAZZ (Nr.10 is TRIO GUIDO MANUSARDI?/Impresii Din Vacan??, Nr.12 is PAUL WEINER/SPIRALE, Nr.13 is MARIUS POPP/Panoramic Jazz Rock). Extremely good soundquality, fresh & fat, outstanding bass-sound of the leader J.Raducanu, Romania's most prominent bass-player who played on several important Romanian jazz-records and released a couple of LPs under his own name. This one is his first LP ( the record before was a 10 inch) including some fine Hardbop with soulful and slightly modal edges, tasty arrangements, some great bass-playing and solid soli by M.Popp and the other guys.

Condition: the record looks mint- in daylight & in normal artificial light, it looks mint-- to ex++ under a very strong halogen lamp ( the original PVC-innersleeve has left a superficial & non-audible impression in one small area). It plays in mint- to mint-- all of the time.

The thin paper-cover is very sensitive, this one is therefore in pretty excellent shape, all seams/spine are intact but rubbed, front & back are fine with just light shelfwear and slight ringwear, minimal wear on the opening (2 few mm mini-tears), inside there's a tiny stamp with the number “2”; overall ex--/vg++.

Zustand: die LP sieht bei Tageslicht & unter einer normalen Lampe mint- aus, unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe sieht sie mint-- bis ex++ aus ( die originale PVC-Innenhülle hat in einem kleinen Bereich einen oberflächlichen & nicht hörbaren Abdruck verursacht). Sie spielt durchgehend in mint- bis mint--.

Das dünne Papier-Cover ist sehr empfindlich, dieses Exemplar ist dafür in ziemlichem exzellentem Zustand, alle Kanten sind intakt aber mit Abrieb, Vorder- & Rückseite sind schön mit leichten Lagerspuren und leichtem ringwear, minimale Gebrauchsspuren am Einschub ( 2 wenige mm kurze Minirisse), im Inneren ist ein kleiner Stempel mit der Zahl “2”; insgesamt in ex--/vg++.

Alle Platten wurden professionell gereinigt, entweder von mir (Hannl Mikro) oder von den Vorbesitzern (Okki Nokki, Loricraft o.Ä.). Anschließend wurden sie nur wenige Male abgespielt bzw. nur einmal von mir zum Bewerten angehört (komplett oder in Ausschnitten). Optische Bewertung erfolgt in Tageslicht, in normalen Kunstlicht & unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe. Platten kommen mit neuer hochwertiger Innenhülle & in einer Schutzhülle. Bitte beachten: auch prof. gereinigte Platten können einige Staubpartikel haben; “eingefangen” während optischer & akkustischer Bewertung, Fotografieren oder den wenigen Abspielungen der Vorbesitzer.

Grading & Cleaning:

• all records have been cleaned on a professional record cleaning machine, either by me (Hannl Mikro) or by the pre-owners (Okki Nokki, Loricraft or the like). After cleaning the records have been played just a few times (or only once by me for playgrading)

• I playgrade each record (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, high-end Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN/ EMT TU-3 SFL (please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment)

• I also visually grade cleaned records in daylight, in normal artificial light & under a strong halogen lamp

• only an unplayed record is mint, my highest grading for a used record is mint- . My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg

• cleaned records are stored in a new pro innersleeve and they are placed in a PVC protection-sleeve

• pl. note: even pro cleaned records may have received some dust particles during visual-/play-grading, photographing or few pre-owner playbacks
