JERRY LEE LEWIS "High School Confidential" Sun 296
Story goes: "I have a friend whose wife's sister was married to Jerry Lee Lewis. She died under suspicious circumstances in a motel room." The world is truely a small place.
The Original Picture Sleeve was done really well. It is actually done in Black and White, but the artist must have been great at his job. Out of all the sleeves I had/have, this one is my favorite.
Amazingly, little deterioration of original picture. Pretty flat almost like it was kept in a book. Extremely slight record dent, (I can see it so I must report) hard to see.
Some knuckle-head wrote with a pencil, small numbers (296 front right corner, back left side). I didn't dare to try and erase. I believe things are alot of times best left alone. Anyway the little flaws add character.
No wearing of the edges or splitting of the seams.
The Vinyl record is in good shape. Not as new as the Original Sleeve but very nice anyway. Minor scratches that doesn't effect the play.
Little rub on the Record Label. Someone also wrote, "Nancy Biermann" in ink on one side. And there is a sticker (with the # 50, 3/8"x1/2") on the label.
Again I don't try to fix anything. So You might be able to remove the sticker. I don't consider such things as flaws or problems.

This is part of a 500 unit collection that came into my possession. With 350 45s in their Original Sleeves, and 150 Sleeves by themselves. It has been quite a challenge.
Although I have learned much in this adventure, I am still not capable of intelligently pricing any of it.
In order to be fair to myself, as well as others, I decided that "auction" is the best sales technique for my purpose.
Right now I am not accepting early buy-outs. The future might change me. But for now.............
However: Upon request I will provide a list of what I have to auction. I don't care in which order I make them available. If you have a choice of what you want me to auction first, Please let me know.
