Description
I'm selling my collection of John Coltrane LPs over the next few weeks - a rare opportunity to add these classic albums to your collection, all in NM or EX+ condition!!
Number eight is a stunning copy of The John Coltrane Quartet Plays LP recorded in the USA in 1965 and released in the UK in the same year (McCoy Tyner on piano, Jimmy Garrison on bass*, Elvin Jones on drums - *Art Davis added for s2t1). A first UK issue copy on the HMV black/red label; first pressing - matrix nos. AS 85 A-1/AS 85 B-1.
> Play tested on my Thorens TD125 II & Marantz PM-12SE.
