This STEREO album was released on the EMI HARVEST label (UK) in 1973 with reference number SHVL 810

The matrix detail on Side One is: SHVL 810  A - 1U   PORKY

The matrix detail on Side Two is: SHVL 810  B - 1U    PECKO

This record is a FIRST PRESSING with the boxed EMI logo on the record label.

DISC: The disc is bright, clean and glossy.  To the naked eye there are no visible marks to the playing area.

I have played both sides of this disc and consider it to be a super example of a great album - it plays without fault and remains quiet between the tracks. 

COVER:  The non-laminated single fold gatefold cover is clean with just light creasing and storage wear, it can be considered an very good example.

The original clear PVC cover that shows the band members is complete with some age discolouration that is visible in the photographs.

I grade the cover as VG+.

This record is supplied with the original lyric card inner sleeve that has some storage wear and creasing but remains in good condition.

A previous owner has written the name: 'EDGAR BROUGHTON BAND' to the top right corner (visible in the photographs)

OTHER INFORMATION:

'THE EDGAR BROUGHTON BAND' were an English psychedelic rock band that was formed in Warwick during 1968.

'OORA" was released in May 1973 and is the fifth studio album to be released by the band.  It was the final album to be released by the band on the EMI Harvest label.

The band on this album comprise of:

Edgar Broughton - Lead Vocals & Guitar

Victor Grant - Guitar, Piano & Vocals

Steve Broughton - Drums & Vocals

Arthur Grant - Bass Guitar

Guest artists on the album include Madeline Bell and David Bedford.

EX - Excellent - Sleeve and vinyl is used and shows only very minor (if any) signs of wear.

VG - Very Good  - Sleeve will have obvious signs of wear/damage. Vinyl will have obvious signs of wear but will play with no major faults (although there may be some surface noise).

G - Good - Sleeve will have significant wear/damage. Vinyl will have a fair amount of surface damage however it will play with no sticks or jumps but will have significant surface noise

F - Fair - Sleeve will be badly damaged. Vinyl will have significant damage and may play with surface noise and may jump/stick etc.

+ & - may be used if an item is between standard gradings.
