Please Read Full Listing Before Purchase - Thanks.
Please buy with confidence, I have decided to part with some of my collection that I've amassed over the past 35+ years, everything from 78's classical to metal, rock and even a few new 180gm pressings.
On offer is The Lp - Grieg piano concerto - Clifford Curzon - Piano.
Side1: Piano Concerto in A minor, op. 16 with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Oivin Fjelstad.
Side 2: Franck Variation Symphonies, Litolff Scherzo from Concerto Symphonique No 4, op. 102 - with the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sir Adrian Boult.
1960 Stereo Pressing on the Decca Records Label - SXL 2173 - Matrix No's - ZAL 4599 4D & ZAL 4600 2D.
Vinyl - Visual - Ex - The vinyl is visually in excellent condition with a couple of tiny surface marks and a fine hairline on side 2, little played and retains a lovely sheen, The Labels are clean with no obvious wear, .
Playback - Ex- - Side 1 plays excellent throughout although with some small tics and a couple of clicks heard, Side 2 Plays excellent although with some small static tics and light static crackle heard in places, No skips or jumps etc.
I have played 100's possibly 1000's of these older pressings over the years, it's normal to get some light tics, clicks, light static crackle or even the occasional pop on the vast majority of vinyl pressings even when they are in as excellent a condition as this one, I have perhaps found only a couple of records over the years that played absolutely perfectly without any of these normal features of vinyl.
Sleeve - Vg+ Provided in the Original Sleeve as pictured which has some minor age related wear although nothing major as can be seen in the pics.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality.
Please note: A mid range technics turntable was used to play test the Record - Playback Results may vary on Inferior or Superior quality playback equipment.
